35. You have a network ID of 155.16.0.0. You need at least 1000 users per subnet.  Determine the appropriate subnet mask that will give you the greatest number of subnets while still accommodating your need for 1000 users per subnet.

Answer __255.255.252.0 __
WHY:  I need 10 bits for host IDs (8 bits from fourth octet + 2 bits used from third octet) If I take 2 bits from third octet that will leave 6 bits 26 - 2 = 62 Networks.

No this subnet mask does not fulfill the requirements.

While it does meet the requirement of the number of subnets needed (10) it will only give us 14 host per each subnet. 24 - 2 = 14. The subnet mask will give me 14 subnets with 14 host per each subnet.

50.  Describe the two methods of replication for a WINS server?

Pull and Push Partners Replication

A Pull partner requests replication from a push partner. The pull partner can either initiate replication by requesting replication from a push partner or if a push partner notifies pull partner, the pull partner must indicate to the push partner it is ready for replication to take place. If the pull partner is not ready, replication will not take place.  Pull partners are scheduled events that occur on regular intervals (time frame)

A push partner will notify a pull partner when it has data it needs to send. If the pull partner is ready, the the push partner will transmit its data and replication will take place.  Push partners are triggered when the number of changes exceed a specified threshold (threshold event)
